May 2026 Market Wrap-Up

Looking back at May, the month unfolded largely according to the roadmap I had outlined months in advance.

Since the February low, I repeatedly stated that I expected a counter-trend rally lasting approximately 8–10–12 weeks, with the most likely window for a major high being 22–24 April.

Indeed, we saw an important high during that period. However, the market chose to extend the move and continue higher for the full 12-week cycle, eventually topping on 6 May.

What's particularly interesting is that 6 May was not a random date. It was one of the Gann geometry dates that I shared back in February, months before the event occurred.

This is another example of how time cycles, geometry, and market structure often align to produce important turning points.

 How the May Dates Performed

On the chart below, you can see all the dates that were shared in advance for May and how the market reacted around each one.

6 May

➡️ Major high of the move

The market completed the full 12-week counter-trend rally and topped exactly on this date.

10 May

➡️ Double top

Price rallied back toward the 6 May high but failed to exceed it. The high formed slightly below the previous peak, creating a classic double-top structure.

This was also the start of an important planetary move.

15 May

During that planetary move, I explained that if price was trading lower by the midpoint (15–16 May), then the move would most likely end as a low around 19–20 May.

That is exactly what happened.

More importantly, this confirmed that the trend that started in February had likely ended and that 6 May was the monthly high.

19–20 May

➡️ Cycle low

The planetary move completed as a low, confirming the bearish shift in structure.

22 May

➡️ Lower high

26 May

➡️ Lower high

31 May

➡️ Lower high

All three dates produced reactions within the ongoing downtrend and acted as highs rather than lows.

This is a good reminder that a pivot date does not automatically mean a major reversal. Sometimes a pivot simply marks a pause or a lower high within an existing trend.

🧭 What We Learned

One of the key lessons from May is that timing windows continue to be extremely valuable.

The market reacted around nearly every major date, even when the direction wasn't immediately obvious.

This is why I constantly stress:

Time gives us the window. Structure confirms the direction.

Without structure, dates are only possibilities.

With structure, dates become opportunities.

 Looking Ahead

June has started with a very aggressive sell-off during the first five days of the month.

My current expectation remains:

  • Some additional downside pressure

  • Followed by a relief rally

The larger trend remains under pressure until proven otherwise.

The key levels and dates for June remain unchanged, and the next couple of weeks should provide much more clarity about whether Bitcoin is preparing for another recovery phase or whether the broader downtrend still has unfinished business.

As always, we follow the combination of:

✔ Time✔ Price✔ Structure✔ Geometry

and let the market confirm the next move.
