Bitcoin Update 28 Jan

27 was marked as a major turning point window for me, and ideally we should have started moving down from here. Instead, price is pushing up today and temporarily ignoring the pivot, which is rare for a date of that strength.
That’s important — because when a strong pivot doesn’t immediately reverse price, it usually means the market is testing a key level before the real move.
Right now price is still trading below the 89,722 resistance, and that keeps this level critical.
So there are two scenarios:
• Rejection at this resistance → Pivot acts as a high and we turn down• Clean break and close above it → Then the pivot shifts behavior and we likely continue up for a few more days
Today’s close is very important for confirmation. Strong pivot dates don’t just disappear — they either reverse price or mark the point where structure breaks and momentum expands.
Bitcoin briefly broke above the key resistance level at $89,700, but faced immediate rejection and quickly fell back below. While we did trade higher today compared to yesterday, it’s now possible that the pivot lands a day later, meaning today could be the actual turning point.
If we do move down from here, BTC will begin forming a potential inverse head and shoulders pattern — a bullish continuation structure. This would align perfectly with the idea of a short pullback before continuation higher, and it’s something I’ll be watching closely.

Interestingly, this scenario also lines up with what my harmonic indicator is currently showing:Downtrend into 29–30 Jan, followed by uptrend into 4–5 Feb.

Keep in mind — my pivot dates and harmonic indicator are entirely separate systems. They are based on different calculations and methods, yet both are now pointing to the same direction, which adds confidence in the outlook.
My first major pivot for February remains 4–5 Feb, so all eyes are on this short-term pullback and whether we can form a bullish structure leading into that date.
More updates coming soon.
